SAMPLE POEM
Forgiving God and Me
A moment came today
when all the other wayward angels descended
and held me in their sway,
locking arms and encircling me.
I was driving and the car sputtered

when the car broke down that day.
I panicked, of course, for I knew
this was no accident, but a parallel,
yet another passage on this journey without end.
