SAMPLE POEM

Storm Fields

In this hour of destruction—

It's all coming up and coming out,
for us to see this as it is and know

without any doubt what this is all about.

All things hidden must be revealed so that we
can see the veil has already been torn and set aside.
We may enter in and begin something new.

What is not in integrity cannot be carried forward.
This crumbling for you, for me, is a narrow gate destroyed

and there is a wide love to meet us where we are.

In this field of creation—

As our hearts are finding their sea legs and
in all the letting go, we must fix our eyes ahead
and follow all we know to be true. We must trust.

So much has been eclipsed, so much
turned upside down and inside out; yet, this recalibration
is infusing us with love. What has awaited us is gift.

There is the temptation to cast it aside.
As a bitterness that would betray our souls arises,
we must be still in time and remember where we are going.
